Hollywood star Will Arnett has a lot to smile about these days. PEOPLE can confirm that the actor and SmartLess podcast co-host is newly dating supermodel and environmental advocate Carolyn Murphy. The pair were recently spotted together attending Sean Hayes’ West End play Good Night, Oscar in London, where they shared a joyful backstage moment with Hayes and his husband, Scott Icenogle.

The budding romance follows Arnett’s quiet split from Alessandra Brawn, his girlfriend of five years, which occurred in late 2024. The former couple share a 5-year-old son, Denny, and remain committed to co-parenting, according to sources.

Murphy, 51, is a longtime Estée Lauder ambassador and Vogue cover star, and mom to 24-year-old Dylan Blue. Arnett, 55, also shares sons Archie, 16, and Abel, 15, with his ex-wife, comedian and actress Amy Poehler. Despite their divorce, Arnett and Poehler have maintained a close bond, with Poehler recently appearing on Arnett’s podcast alongside Hayes and Jason Bateman.

Fatherhood remains central to Arnett’s life. In a September 2024 podcast appearance, he reflected on his evolving perspective: “I’m crazy about my kids. I always joked that before I had kids, I didn’t notice them. And then you have kids of your own and you go, ‘Wow!’ It really brought everything into focus for me in life and put everything into perspective.” Bateman echoed this sentiment during an episode of SmartLess: On the Road, praising Arnett for his dedication: “I’ve been watching what you’re doing as a father, even when you’re out of town… Just watching the way that you’re doing it, I’m really envious.”

Beyond his personal life, Arnett is gaining buzz for his upcoming film Is This Thing On?, directed by Bradley Cooper. The comedy, which follows a man navigating his personal life amidst a comedic career, will premiere at the New York Film Festival on October 10 before hitting theaters on December 19.

With a new romance, devoted fatherhood, and a highly anticipated film, Arnett seems to be entering an exciting new chapter in both his personal and professional life.
