The Spice Girls icon ties the knot with longtime partner and hairstylist Rory McPhee in a royal-worthy London wedding, surrounded by family, fellow stars, and timeless love.
Mel B Finds Her Forever Love: A Glamorous Wedding at St. Paul’s Cathedral
Melanie “Mel B” Brown — best known to millions as Scary Spice of the legendary Spice Girls — has officially tied the knot with her partner of over five years, hairstylist Rory McPhee. The two exchanged vows on Saturday, July 5, in a breathtaking ceremony held at The Crypt of St. Paul’s Cathedral in London — the very same iconic site where Princess Diana married then-Prince Charles in 1981.
The ceremony marked a historic moment, as Mel B became one of the few to wed at the cathedral due to her royal honor — the Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE), awarded in 2022 by Prince William for her advocacy against domestic violence.

A Fashion-Forward Bride and a Star-Studded Guest List
Dressed in a custom ivory gown by Josephine Scott, Mel B stunned as she walked down the aisle, later changing into a chic second dress by Justin Alexander. The entire bridal wardrobe was curated with care by Caroline Black of Evelie Bridal Boutique. “Mel was a dream to work with,” said Black, praising the pop star’s elegance and authenticity.
The celebration continued at a glamorous reception held at the Shangri-La Hotel inside The Shard — the tallest building in the U.K. Guests included a who’s who of British entertainment, from fellow Spice Girl Emma Bunton to Cara Delevingne, Katherine Ryan, Daisy Lowe, Simon Fuller, and Alan Carr.

Mel B’s daughters — Phoenix (26), Angel Iris (18), and Madison (13) — stood by her side as bridesmaids, reinforcing the day’s emphasis on family, healing, and joy.
A Journey from Heartache to Hope
Mel B and Rory McPhee got engaged in 2022 during a romantic getaway to Cliveden in Berkshire. McPhee, who worked with Mel B on The Masked Singer, proposed with rose petals, a roaring fire, and heartfelt words: “I love you, you’re my best friend and I want to spend the rest of my life with you.”
It was a touching chapter for Mel B, who had once sworn off marriage after two difficult divorces — first from Jimmy Gulzar, then from Stephen Belafonte. “I’m never getting married again,” she had once said. But as she told PEOPLE in March 2024, “Never say never.”

Now, she celebrates not just a new marriage, but a new beginning — one rooted in mutual respect, friendship, and unconditional love. “I’ve got this opportunity to be properly in love with a really good guy,” she said, “who I know loves me for me.”
Dancing into Forever
The wedding follows a high-spirited bachelorette celebration, where Mel B and 36 friends donned leopard-print swimsuits and performed a choreographed Beyoncé number by the water. It was vibrant, fun, and unapologetically Mel B — just like her wedding day.
With a sparkling ring, a second chance at love, and the support of her daughters and closest friends, Mel B’s July 5 wedding marks not just a union — but a milestone in resilience, reinvention, and the enduring power of love.
